Wikipedia - Egyptian Super Cup
The Egyptian Super Cup is Egyptian football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous Egyptian Premier League season and the holders of the Egypt Cup. If the Egyptian Premier League champions also won the Egypt Cup then the cup runners-up provide the opposition. The competition was founded in 2001, from the 2023-24 season the tournament is characterized by a new format, four teams will compete instead of the usual two teams.
Egyptský futbalový Superpohár (arab. كأس السوبر المصري, angl. Egyptian Super Cup) je zápas medzi víťazom Egyptskej Premier League a víťazom Egyptského pohára. V prípade, že obe súťaže vyhrá rovnaký tím, tak sa zápasu zúčastní aj druhý finalista Egyptského pohára. Do roku 2017 sa zápas hral na rôznych štadiónoch v Egypte, od roku 2017 sa koná na štadióne Hazza bin Zayed v Abú Zabí v Spojených arabských emirátoch. Rekordérom v počte získaných trofejí je káhirský klub Al Ahly s 12 víťazstvami.
