The P. League+ (stylized as P. LEAGUE+, abbreviated as PLG), pronounced as Plus League, is a Taiwanese men's professional basketball league founded in 2020.

History

The P. League+ was founded by Blackie Chen in 2020. It is the first fully professional basketball league in Taiwan after the Chinese Basketball Alliance (CBA) ceased operations in 2000. The first four teams participating in the inaugural season were the Formosa Taishin Dreamers, the Hsinchu JKO Lioneers, the Taipei Fubon Braves, and the Taoyuan Pilots. In its second season 2021–22, the P. League+ added two more teams, the New Taipei Kings and the Kaohsiung Steelers.

"Čínsky Tchaj-pej - P League" je profesionálna basketbalová liga na Taiwane. Bola založená v roku 2020 a pozostáva z ôsmich tímov. Sezóna P. League+ sa hrá od novembra do mája a každý tím odohrá 30 zápasov základnej časti. Štyri najlepšie tímy po základnej časti postúpia do play-off, ktoré sa hrá na štýl "best-of-seven".

P. League+ je jednou z najpopulárnejších športových líg na Taiwane a jej zápasy navštevujú tisícky fanúšikov. Liga je tiež domovom niektorých z najlepších basketbalistov na Taiwane a niekoľkí hráči P. League+ reprezentovali Taiwan na medzinárodných súťažiach.

P. League+ je dôležitou súčasťou basketbalového ekosystému na Taiwane a pomohla zvýšiť popularitu tohto športu v krajine. Liga tiež poskytuje cennú príležitosť pre taiwanských hráčov rozvíjať svoje zručnosti a hrať na profesionálnej úrovni.
