Wikipedia - Kuwait Emir Cup

The Kuwait Amir/Emir Cup (Arabic: كأس أمير الكويت) is a Kuwaiti football competition created in 1962. The Emir Cup, is the last football competition held in the Kuwaiti football season.

Al Arabi SC hold the record of being the only team to reach the final 11 consecutive times, from1962 up to 1972 .

Kuvajtský pohár je ročná futbalová súťaž v Kuvajte, ktorú organizuje Kuvajtská futbalová asociácia. V súťaži sa zúčastňuje 16 tímov, ktoré sú zložené z tímov z Premier League Kuvajtu a prvoligových klubov. Turnaj sa hrá vyraďovacím systémom na jediné stretnutie, pričom víťaz zápasu postupuje do ďalšieho kola. Finále sa hrá na neutrálnom ihrisku, zvyčajne na Národnom štadióne v meste Kuvajt. Kuvajtský pohár sa prvýkrát uskutočnil v roku 1961 a odvtedy sa hrá každoročne. Najúspešnejším tímom v súťaži je Al-Arabi, ktorý vyhral pohár 16-krát. Najnovším víťazom turnaja je klub Al-Kuwait SC, ktorý vo finále ročníka 2022/23 porazil Al-Salmiyu 2:1.
