Phuket Andaman Football Club (Thai: สโมสรฟุตบอลภูเก็ต อันดามัน) is a Thai professional football club based in Phuket. The club is currently playing in the Thai League 3 Southern region.
History
In 2009, the club is formed as Phuket Football Club, nicknamed The Southern Sea Kirins, and admitted to the Regional League South Division. Club home games to be played at Surakul Stadium. Sirirak Konthong named as the first ever coach of Phuket. In 2010 Phuket won the Southern Regional Division 2 and finished 2nd in the Division 2 Champions League after losing to Buriram FC in the final anyway the club promoted to Division 1.
In 2017, Phuket F.C. decided to dissolve the club due to financial problems about unfair contract cancellation.
In 2018, Phuket F.C. collapsed and combined with Phuket City.
In 2022, Phuket Andaman competed in the Thai League 3 for the 2022–23 season. It is their 3rd season in the professional league. The club started the season with a 1–0 home win over Muang Trang United and they ended the season with a 1–2 away defeat to Muang Trang United. The club has finished 6th place in the league of the Southern region. In addition, in the 2022–23 Thai League Cup Phuket Andaman was defeated 0–1 by Young Singh Hatyai United in the first qualification round, causing them to be eliminated.
Trénerom tímu je bývalý thajský reprezentant Anurak Srikerd. Klub má vo svojom kádri zmes thajských a zahraničných hráčov. Hlavnými sponzormi klubu sú Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization a Andaman Group.
Phuket Andaman FC odohral svoju prvú sezónu v Thajskej lige 2 v roku 2011. V tom istom roku sa klub prebojoval do finále Thajského FA pohára, kde prehral s Buriram United 1:0.
V roku 2012 skončil Phuket Andaman FC v Thajskej lige 2 na 12. mieste. V roku 2013 sa klub umiestnil na 8. mieste. V roku 2014 skončil Phuket Andaman FC na 10. mieste.
V roku 2015 sa klub umiestnil na 9. mieste. V roku 2016 skončil Phuket Andaman FC na 12. mieste. V roku 2017 sa klub umiestnil na 10. mieste.
V roku 2018 skončil Phuket Andaman FC na 11. mieste. V roku 2019 sa klub umiestnil na 12. mieste. V roku 2020 sa Thajská liga 2 pre pandémiu COVID-19 nekonala.
V roku 2021 sa klub umiestnil na 10. mieste. V roku 2022 skončil Phuket Andaman FC na 11. mieste.
Phuket Andaman FC je ambiciózny klub, ktorý dúfa, že sa v budúcnosti prebojuje do Thajskej ligy 1. Klub má silnú základňu fanúšikov a očakáva sa, že v nasledujúcich rokoch bude hrať významnú úlohu v thajskom futbale.
