Legon Cities FC (formerly known as Wa All Stars FC) is a football club from Ghana currently based in Accra, Greater Accra. The club won the 2016 Ghanaian Premier League.

History

The club was founded in January 2006 through investments by Kwesi Nyantakyi in Wa, Ghana. There had been a number of First Division Clubs in the region notably Freedom Stars, Veterans and Wa United. They are a member of the Ghana Premier League. The club used to play their home games at Wa Sports Stadium formerly played in the Golden City Park in Berekum but now plays their home games at the Accra Sports Stadium.

In December 2019, the club was sold and renamed to Legon Cities F.C.

Futbalový klub Legon Cities FC je ghanský profesionálny futbalový klub so sídlom v Akkre, ktorý hrá v ghanskej Premier League, najvyššej futbalovej súťaži v krajine. Klub bol založený v roku 2015 a svoje domáce zápasy hrá na štadióne Accra Sports Stadium.

Legon Cities FC je pomerne mladý klub, ale za krátky čas svojej existencie dosiahol značné úspechy. V sezóne 2019/2020 sa klubu podarilo získať prvé miesto v ghanskej Premier League, čo je jeho najväčší úspech. Klub tiež hral v Africkom pohári konfederácií, kde dosiahol skupinovú fázu.

V súčasnosti hrá Legon Cities FC v ghanskej Premier League a snaží sa zopakovať svoj úspech z minulosti. Klub má silný tím, ktorý vedú skúsení hráči ako Asamoah Gyan a Emmanuel Gyamfi. Legon Cities FC je jedným z najsľubnejších futbalových klubov v Ghane a je určite mužstvom, ktoré treba sledovať v budúcnosti.
