NC Central je americký vysokoškolský basketbalový tím, ktorý reprezentuje North Carolina Central University (NCCU), ktorý súťaží v konferencii Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). Tím hral svoje domáce zápasy v McDougald-McLendon Gymnasium na kampuse NCCU v Durhame v Severnej Karolíne od roku 1959. Súčasným hlavným trénerom tímu je LeVelle Moton, ktorý túto pozíciu zastáva od roku 2009.

NC Central má bohatú basketbalovú históriu, ktorá sa datuje do roku 1929. Tím vyhral 10 pravidelných sezónnych šampionátov MEAC a 9 turnajov MEAC. NC Central sa zúčastnil na ôsmich turnajoch NCAA, pričom ich najlepším výsledkom bol postup do Sweet 16 v roku 1989.

NC Central je vždy konkurencieschopným súperom v MEAC a je považovaný za jedného z najlepších basketbalových tímov v čiernom historicky zameranom collegeskom športe.
