Dreams Football Club is a football club based in the Greater Accra Region. The club is competing in the Ghanaian Premier League.

History

The club was formed in 2009 and was promoted to the second level of the Ghanaian soccer league system in 2014.

The club operates a first team, popularly called Stage 1 and a youth team called Stage 2. Players of Stage 1 are considered first team members and compete in the Ghana Premier League. Stage 1 is managed by former Asante Kotoko trainer and national U20 team coach Abdul Karim Zito.

Ghana Premier League

Dreams FC sealed their qualification to the 2015–2016 Ghana Premier League season for the first time ever in their history. In December 2016, the club was demoted from the Ghana Premier League due to an anomaly with the registration of a player. The decision was taken by the Ghana Football Association's Disciplinary Committee.

Futbalový klub Dreams zo Ghany je profesionálny futbalový klub so sídlom v Dawu. Klub bol založený v roku 2009 a v súčasnosti hrá v ghanskej Premier League, najvyššej súťaži ghanského futbalu. Domovským štadiónom klubu je Dawu Stadium s kapacitou 10 000 miest.

Dreams sú jedným z najúspešnejších klubov v ghanskom futbale a získali niekoľko významných trofejí vrátane ghanského FA Cupu a ghanského Superpoháru. Klub sa tiež pravidelne zúčastňuje afrických klubových súťaží, ako je Konfederácia afrického futbalu (CAF) a Liga majstrov CAF.

Niektorí z najznámejších hráčov, ktorí hrali za Dreams, sú Abdul Majeed Waris, Lumor Agbenyenu a Asamoah Gyan. Waris je útočník, ktorý v súčasnosti hrá za francúzsky klub Strasbourg; Agbenyenu je obranca, ktorý v súčasnosti hrá za portugalský klub Sporting CP; a Gyan je útočník, ktorý v súčasnosti hrá za ghanský klub Legon Cities.
