The Nelson Giants are a New Zealand basketball team based in Nelson. The Giants compete in the National Basketball League (NBL) and play their home games at the Trafalgar Centre. For sponsorship reasons, they are known as the NBS Nelson Giants. The Giants are the only remaining original team from the league's inaugural season, as all other teams have spent at least one year out of the league, for various reasons.
Tím Nelson Giants je novozélandský profesionálny basketbalový tím sídliaci v meste Nelson. Giants sú členmi Nového Zélandu NBL a hrajú svoje domáce zápasy v Trafalgar Centre. Tím založili v roku 1982 a je jedným z najstarších basketbalových tímov v krajine. Giants vyhrali dva šampionáty NBL (v roku 2007 a 2012) a šesťkrát skončili medzi prvými štyrmi. Tím reprezentujú novozélandskí aj zahraniční hráči. Hlavným trénerom Giants je Nenad Vučinič a asistentom trénera je Mike Perovich.
