With more than 9,000 members, the club, which was established in 1862, is one of the largest sporting organizations in Germany. VfL Sindelfingen has departments for various sports including football (soccer), volleyball, basketball, swimming, athletics, table tennis, and badminton.
Futbalový tím zo Sindelfingenu je ženský futbalový klub so sídlom v Sindelfingene v Nemecku. Tím v súčasnosti hrá v 2. Bundeslige, druhej najvyššej úrovni ženského futbalu v Nemecku. Klub bol založený v roku 1971 a v roku 2003 postúpil do 2. Bundesligy. Najväčším úspechom tímu bolo víťazstvo v Bundesligovom pohári v roku 2009.
